Here are some differences we noticed between Canada and New England:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advantages to Canada<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fewer people<\/li>\n<li>Cleaner air<\/li>\n<li>Higher probability of strangers approaching and\/or talking to you<\/li>\n<li>Fewer potholes, it seems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong> Disadvantages of Canada <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(For those who dislike social interaction) Higher probability of strangers approaching and\/or talking to you<\/li>\n<li>Some people don&#8217;t speak English<\/li>\n<li>Apparently, still a constitutional monarchy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Differences<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tobacco products are affixed with graphic images of product health consequences (e.g., mouth cancer)<\/li>\n<li>More pine trees<\/li>\n<li>Some people are native French speakers<\/li>\n<li>Higher beaver and wolf populations<\/li>\n<li>Native Americans are called &#8216;First Peoples&#8217;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are probably some other differences, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My family and I have traveled to eastern Canada about 12&ndash;24 times, from Toronto to Nova Scotia.
